Proposals and Vision
Masdar Arlington Energy are proposing to develop an Energy Storage Facility in the form of modular battery units and associated infrastructure, which will be connected to the National Grid. The purpose of the facility will be to store surplus electricity to feed back into the Grid as required during peak periods of demand.

Masdar Arlington Energy will support the UK’s greener electricity grid on its path to net-zero. Flexible energy storage including the proposed development will be key to receiving the full benefit from renewable technology.
